Shootin Rum is a 2024 AQHA dunalino splash gelding by Don't Stop Shootin out of a mare that goes back to Playgun, Colonel Freckles, Peppy San Badger, and Rum Squall. He is eligible for APHA registry. He currently measures 14.2 at the withers and 14.3 at the hip in the summer of his 2yo year. He is barefoot up front and in his first set of sliders.

 

You won't find a kinder, more attractive, and correctly conformed horse. Pierre draws attention from everyone who lays eyes him. He was born here, started on time, and has been brought on mindfully in a professional program for his 2yo year. He has a great foundation that includes balance and body control, rate, read, and control of a cow, a strong stop, and miles ridden out on the mountain. He has been in cowhorse training, has a good start on all reining and cow maneuvers, and has begun roping the RealCow. He would also excel at versatility, stock horse, or ranch riding. 

 

Pierre is a good citizen, safe for anyone to handle and ride, and would make a wonderful partner for an open, non pro, amateur, or youth. ​He ties, clips, bathes, hauls, stands great for the farrier, etc. He's good in a stall, run, or turned out in a herd, and is best friends with all of the other horses.​
